๐Always have permission to post pictures of your nanny kids. The parents need to be aware and comfortable with their children being posted on social media. Many arenโt and view it as a breach of privacy and trust.
๐Avoid using names or personal facts. Nanny world has plenty of codes NB, NK, G2, B3 and so onโฆ there is no need to use identifying factors. Keep their personal lives private.
๐Avoid any pictures of Nanny kid’s faces. (unless parents have expressed consent)
๐Be mindful of geolocation tags. So often we tag our location on social media; this is fine when you’re out with your friends at brunch, but can be a safety issue if youโre tagging yourself alone in a park with your nanny kids
๐Never disclose the address or neighborhood of your employerโs home on social media, itโs best and safest to keep the anonymity
